How Care Solace Works

Step 1: Complete a Screening
To begin, you’ll provide consent and complete a brief screening online or by phone. Please be prepared to share:
- Basic contact information for the client (and guardian, if applicable)
- Insurance provider and plan information
- A brief description of your concerns
- The type of support or services you are seeking

Step 2: Get Matched
Once your screening is complete, Care Solace will:
- Search for providers on your behalf
- Keep you updated by phone, text, or email
- Present at least two provider options when available
- Help schedule your appointment if requested
Your needs matter. If a provider doesn’t feel like the right fit, Care Solace can continue searching.

Step 3: Follow Up
After your appointment, Care Solace will check in to:
- Confirm your satisfaction with your provider match
- Continue helping if another option is needed
- Answer questions and support you throughout the process
In emergencies, call 911 or 988
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Care Solace is not an emergency response service and does not provide direct clinical or mental health treatment services.
Community Providers
MVC partners with Care Solace to help connect our campus community with local mental health and substance use treatment resources.
Local providers may receive outreach from Care Solace as they help students, employees, and families find available care options. Providers interested in updating their practice information or becoming a verified provider can contact Care Solance Provider Support, or email providers@caresolace.org.
