Moreno Valley College is committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and responsive campus environment. Regardless of your safety concern, we encourage you to report early so we can support you.
Emergency Response
In the case of a clear emergency, DIAL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
- 911 dispatch will route calls to RCCD Police officers where necessary. When reporting, be sure to include cross streets and detailed location information.
- Stay connected during emergency events with RCCD's mass notification system.
- Download the RAVE Guardian App (for Android or iPhone) for mobile safety features such as instant 911 dial, timed virtual escorts, and texting RCCD Police.
Non-Emergency Police Requests
The Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Police Department is a POST-certified agency that provides a dedicated police presence.
- For emergencies, dial 911.
- For non-emergencies, call the RCCD Police non‑emergency line at (951) 222‑8171.
Anonymous Crime or Safety Tip
If you want to report a crime, suspicious activity, or any safety concern anonymously, you may use the WeTip tool provided through RCCD Police.
Facilities or Environmental Safety Concerns
Report unsafe conditions in the physical environment through the RCCD ServiceDesk using the Facilities menu.
- Report broken lights, damaged walkways, structural hazards, grafitti or pest removal, gas or roof leaks.
- For gas leaks that may cause imminent harm, also call 911 from a safe location.
General Hazard Reporting
Students and community members may use the Health and Safety Hazard Reporting Form to report hazards on campus. The safety issue will then be investigated to determine if mitigations are needed.
Workplace Hazard Reports and Ergonomic Requests
Employees should submit safety‑related issues that involve District Risk Management or require safety evaluations through RCCD ServiceDesk using the Safety and Risk Management menu.
- General safety, security, or injury‑prevention concerns
- Workplace safety issues such as spill or slip hazards, or building or facilities‑related hazards
- Ergonomic assessment requests
Cybersecurity Concerns
RCCD takes data security seriously. There are various methods to report cybersecurity concerns. Please send these reports immediately.
- Report suspicious emails by forwarding them to spam@rccd.edu.
- Report compromised accounts or other data security concerns to helpdesk@rccd.edu if you cannot access ServiceDesk.
- If you can access ServiceDesk, use the Technology menu and file a Cyber Security Incident report.
Student of Concern Report
Student of Concern Report allows anyone to report behavioral concerns regarding a student, including conduct that may indicate risk to the individual or others.
- Concerning or disruptive student behavior, potential mental‑health‑related safety concerns, or conduct issues that may require intervention
