Instructional Program Review

Welcome to the Instructional Program Review Committee (IPRC) page! The information you will find on this page will be helpful if you are a faculty member charged with preparing an instructional program review report, either the Three-Year Comprehensive Report or the Annual Update (formerly known as the Annual Program Review).

If you are an MVC student, member of the college community, or member of the geographical area surrounding the college, you will find completed instructional program review reports that can provide useful information about specific instructional disciplines at Moreno Valley College. We invite you to read the reports from the instructional programs that interest you and contact us if you have any questions.

Instructional Program Reviews are completed online.

October 1, 2020 - Deadline for Three-Year Comprehensive Reports

Disciplines and instructional programs are placed on a 3 year cycle for Comprehensive Reports. The Three-Year Comprehensive Reports are due each fall at the same time as the 1 Year Annual Updates. If a discipline submits a Comprehensive Report in fall, this will take the place of the Annual Update for that year. The current process for review is (1) the MVC IPRC reviews the submitted reports in October; (2) the IPRC convenes for a public review of each document, faculty are welcome to be present; (3a) Revisions requested by the IPRC can be made after the review or (3b) the report can be accepted if no revisions are needed; (4) accepted reports will be posted to the Instructional Program Review Website.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness serves as the Nuventive Improve (TracDat) Administrator. Please contact the Office of Institutional Effectiveness if you have high-level technical questions about using Nuventive Improve (TracDat) for program review.
