Moreno Valley College is focused on boosting the achievement and closing equity gaps for disproportionately impacted students.

Increasing Student Success and Completion

The MVC Student Equity Plan (SEP) is aligned with both the college’s Integrated Strategic Plan and Guided Pathways Plan. The SEP is focused on boosting the achievement and closing equity gaps for disproportionately impacted students. Success indicators include successful enrollment, completion of transfer-level math and English, persistence from term to term, vision goal completion (completion of a certificate or degree in 3 or fewer years), and successful transfer to a four-year institution.

The 2022-25 SEP was approved by the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees on November 1, 2022.
