New Benefit User
New Benefit User: Never previously received VA Educational Benefits.
If you are a new student seeking Veteran Benefits, Veterans Services can help. Access the instructions for new benefits users. After all of your college, university and/or military transcript(s) have been received and you have submitted your Certificate/Letter of Eligibility to Veteran's Services, you will be given a Veteran's Counseling Referral Slip. You must bring this slip to your Veteran's Services counselor and set up an appointment to complete your VA Student Educational Plan. Students who schedule appointments not approved by Veteran Services and/or without a referral slip cannot be guaranteed a VA educational plan will be completed.
* The VA will only pay for classes that are included on the VA Student Educational Plan

How to Update Your Program of Study
If you have attended Moreno Valley College and received VA Educational Benefits in a previous term and would like to change your major, you must complete the following steps:
- Update your program of study via WebAdvisor, under Personal Information
- Complete a New Referral Slip with Veterans Services
* The VA will only pay for classes that are included on the VA Student Educational Plan.
