To support the transition to online teaching, MVC is allowing enrolled students the ability to checkout a laptop. These devices will allow students to connect to the internet, access email, and use Canvas for their courses, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Laptops will be released on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no cost to students, inventory is limited, and an agreement form will need to be filled out by the student. A valid photo ID is required.
For the protection of staff and students, social distancing, and good wellness/hygiene practices will be utilized during the distribution process.
Checking out a Laptop (New as of February 16)
In order to check out a laptop for classes, students can place a request for a laptop for semester checkout through the library's catalog at: Reserve a laptop (MVC ThinkBook 14). Use your student email and student email password to log-in to your OneSearch account (by clicking Sign In on the yellow bar) and then click the Request button to place the request. Returning a Laptop (New as of February 16)
If you already have checked out a laptop, you may keep it until the end of the current semester. You will be notified when to return it. Specific dates and times will be announced. If you have any questions, please contact us.
