Moreno Valley College has selected Daniell Study as its new dean of institutional effectiveness. Study joined Moreno Valley College in 2019 as an institutional research specialist and has led major initiatives to strengthen program review, accreditation processes, and equity-focused assessment. Her work has supported data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement across the college.

"Daniell has been a key part of our success at MVC for the last several years," said Jacob Kevari, vice president of planning and development. "By stepping into this role, she provides the IE team with the dedicated leadership and daily support they need to keep moving forward. This transition allows our department to be more effective across the board and ensures we have the right focus on both institutional research and our broader strategic goals."

She brings expertise in research design, advanced statistical analysis, and data visualization, with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights that align with institutional priorities. Her professional background includes experience with California Community College accountability frameworks, including Student Success Metrics, Vision for Success goals, and Guided Pathways.

Study holds a Master of Science in industrial and organizational psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, where she also taught, conducted research, and supported the university’s institutional research office.

A first-generation college student who began her academic journey in the community college system, Study brings a strong commitment to advancing equity, student success, and access to opportunity.
