In order to teach students, faculty and staff information literacy skills at the Moreno Valley College, the library offers one-hour workshops that cover how to search the catalog, find articles through databases, use ebooks, and evaluate sources. Workshops are drop-in and open to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis. All workshops are held in Library, Room 205 (formerly LIB 241).

Faculty may provide students with proof of workshop attendance that the library faculty will sign for the student; however, library faculty will not provide this proof of attendance.

Students, faculty, and staff may request a workshop on a specific topic to be incorporated into the workshop rotation. Any requested workshop requires a minimum of 2 weeks' notice.
