During a special presentation on Jan. 21, the Moreno Valley City Council recognized Jan. 20, 2025, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, presenting a proclamation to Moreno Valley College (MVC). FeRita Carter, interim president of MVC, accepted the honor on behalf of the college in a ceremony held at City Hall Council Chamber.
